PARTNER BRIEF

Bringing Hope to the Heartland
Lenexa Baptist Church Partners with Resource Health in De Soto, KS

Lenexa Baptist Church partners with Resource Health to open a fifth center in De Soto, KS, expanding services across state lines.

Resource Health is thrilled to announce a new location opening in De Soto, Kansas in January 2026. This step was made possible through the faithful prayers and partnership of Lenexa Baptist Church.

Pastor Chad McDonald, who leads the congregation at Lenexa Baptist, shared the deep sense of purpose behind this collaboration: “We are incredibly excited to support Resource Health in opening a location in De Soto, KS.”

For years, the church has asked God to open the door for a partnership like this one. “We have prayed that God would open the door for us to partner with a pregnancy resource center that would share our same heart and love for Christ and the gospel,” Pastor McDonald said. “We believe we have found that partner in Resource Health.”

That alignment of mission and heart is what makes this partnership so powerful. As Pastor McDonald notes, “Resource Health has a long track record of providing top-notch quality care to women in unplanned pregnancy situations within an environment that is Christ-focused and gospel-driven.”

With abortion rates on the rise in Kansas, the need for a strong, gospel-centered response is more critical than ever. “Now more than ever, we need organizations like Resource Health,” he said, “and we are committed to ensuring that they have all the support they need to help moms and dads choose life and ultimately to find the hope and life that only Christ can give.”

Pastor McDonald offers a final encouragement to others who might consider supporting the work: “I pray that you would consider joining us in this effort as we bring the message of hope to the heartland.”
“I was doing her ultrasound, and she said, ‘It's a real baby in there.’ And I said, ‘Yes it is.’ And then I was just quiet. Because the ultrasound spoke for itself.”
