As we begin a new year, I’m grateful for the opportunity to reflect on what God has done through Resource Health. In this edition, you’ll find our 2020–2025 Impact Statistics, highlighting the lives reached through the faithfulness of partners like you who make this work possible. You’ll also find a powerful story of a couple whose lives were transformed through the gospel and the compassionate care they received at Resource Health. And finally, we’re excited to provide an update on our new location in De Soto, Kansas, which is slated to begin offering services in March! Take a look inside to learn more about these updates and the impact you are making.

UPDATE:
New Location | De Soto, KS

 

We're excited to share the continued progress on our new De Soto, Kansas location, made possible through the incredibly generous $1.4 million partnership of Lenexa Baptist Church. This investment represents a shared commitment to expanding life-affirming, gospel-centered care to more individuals and families in our region. We're pleased to report that the De Soto team is nearly fully staffed, with only one remaining position (a Fatherhood Coordinator, currently in the hiring process). We're grateful for momentum as we prepare to begin offering services on Monday, February 23. In celebration of this milestone, we are hosting an open house on Tuesday, February 17, and we would love for you to join us. Please reach out to info@resourcehealth.org if you'd like to attend. Thank you for celebrating this milestone with us and for your role in helping make this expansion possible.

Ways to Pray

  • Pray for God’s continued provision and protection as the De Soto location prepares to open.

  • Pray for the final hire of a Fatherhood Coordinator and for the right individual to join the team.

  • Pray for unity, wisdom, and encouragement among the staff as they serve together.

  • Pray that clients who walk through the doors would encounter both compassionate care and the hope of the gospel.
